Creating spaces for women to thrive
Helping every woman to sing her own song!
Sound and Song transforms women's lives through group singing experiences, creative expression and a supportive community. Our evidence-based programs offer singing, voicework and creativity combined with proven wellbeing practices, helping women build confidence, reduce isolation, and improve mental health.
Sound and Song for Mums
With the generous support of our funders, our community singing groups are offered free for mums to participate. Drawing on proven music and wellbeing research, we invite women to join us to learn simple and beautiful songs, meet other mamas and relax with a cuppa, all while the little ones soak up the sounds from singing. Women can self-refer to join our 12-week course, and we welcome referrals from health visitors, midwives, and mental health practitioners - please get in touch.
Unlock Your Creativity
Join Zoe for an inclusive 8-week online mentorship program that nurtures your natural creativity. Through personalised guidance, artistic exploration, and thoughtful reflection, you'll develop confidence, overcome creative blocks, and build a lasting artistic practice that fits your life. This supportive program welcomes women of all creative experiences and backgrounds.
Find Your Voice
A playful, gentle and creative online course to introduce you to the wonder of singing. Reclaim your voice, get in touch with your breath, enjoy exploring the power of singing and grow in confidence. Through proven vocal techniques, supportive community, and expert guidance, you'll move past "I can't sing" to find joy and release. This women-only space offers the perfect starting point for exploring singing without judgment or pressure.
(Launching 2025)
Song: Works
Song-works has been created for public, private and 3rd sector organisations who want to invest in the true wellbeing of their people. The programme has been carefully designed to bring the benefits of singing to enhance team collaboration, creativity and organisational harmony. Each programme is bespoke and tailored to your unique company and team needs.
Sound and Song: Generations
Our vibrant weekly singing community will bring together women of all ages to share music, stories, and connection. Drawing on scientifically proven benefits of group singing for mental health and wellbeing, we will specifically address social isolation and its long-term effects on health. No musical experience needed - all songs taught by ear in a supportive environment.
(We have applied for funding for this project and hope it will launch in early in 2025)
Sounding Board
Many women have been told they "can't sing" or should stay quiet - these messages can affect our confidence far beyond music. Working 1-2-1 with Zoe provides a safe, supportive space to reclaim your voice, both literally and metaphorically. Whether you've been silenced in meetings, want to speak up more confidently, or simply wish to express yourself through song, these relaxed sessions help you move past self-doubt. Together, we'll explore what singing means to you and build your confidence at your own pace, in a judgment-free environment.
“Your circle was phenomenal. The best thing I could have done was to join you today. Thank you.”

Sound and Song CIC helps women break free from silence, self-doubt and isolation to overcome mental health challenges, find their authentic voice and build confidence through the transformative powers of song and creativity.
Led by Zoe Hatch, a warm and dynamic facilitator, we create evidence-based therapeutic spaces that deliver measurable improvements in mental health and wellbeing. Our programs blend artistic expression with clinical best practices, fostering deep connections between women facing similar challenges.
Whether raising their voices in song or speaking their truth in life, participants experience profound changes, moving from isolation to connection and building resilience that extends far beyond our workshop walls.
“Singing has a unique power to unlock women's potential, transforming isolation into connection and doubt into confidence. In mere moments, song can shift us from stagnation to freedom, from silence to empowered self-expression. It builds bridges - to ourselves, to others, to our innate creativity and resilience. While often overlooked, singing is a fundamental tool for women's wellbeing, offering a path to authentic self-discovery and meaningful connection with others who share similar challenges.”
